Answer:

Explanation:

The time of arrival and departure of a train at three stations A, B and C and the distance of stations B and C from station A are given

station A

arrival depart

A 0 08;00 08;15

B 120 11;15 11;30

C 180 13;00 13;15

Distance covered from A to B   120 - 0 = 120 km

Time = 11 : 15 - 8:15  = 3 hrs

Average speed = 120/3 = 40 km/Hr

Distance covered from B to C   180 - 120 = 60 km

Time = 13 : 00 - 11:30  = 1.5 hrs

Average speed = 60/1.5 = 40 km/Hr

Speed is same between A to B  & B to C
