The top of a lightning conductor is always higher than the top of the building. Give reasons and explain how lightning conductor minimise the danger of lightning.

It is because a lighting conductor is constructed to save the building from electric current and the thing at higher height has higher risk of getting electric shock...that's why the conductor is put higher so that if current may pass to ground in case of the electric shock.
