the top of the table is in the form of a trapezium as shown in the figure.
if its parallel sides are 80cm and 140cm respectively and the parpendicular distance between them is 40cm,then find its area in square meters​

Answer:

area of trapezium = 1/2 * sum of parallel sides *distance between them

=1/2*(80+140)*40

=8800cm^2

=0.88m^2
