It is the hottest zone which has the "ability" to withstand the maximum amount of sunlight.

As the regions which are receiving the highest rainfall are falling under this zone the ability of plant life to grow in it is higher.

At the same time, due to the availability of more amount of sunlight the process of photosynthesis is very high.

Hence due to the availability of high level of water and sunlight the Torrid Zone is rich with dense forest cover. "
