Hey there
_______________
The correct answer is;
Let the area of floor be x
But, total cost of flooring = 510
A. T. Q,
Area *cost of flooring per square. metre =510
x*8.5=510
x*85/10=510
x=510*10/85
x=60
Hence, area =60sq m
Length =8 m (Given)
Hence, area =60sq m
Length =8 m (Given)
Breadth=?
Area = L*B
60=8*b
60/8=b
7.5=b
b=7.5
Hence, breadth =7.5m

510/8.50=60
l*b=8*b=60
b=60/8=7.5m
