Here is your solutions

Given:-

The total cost of three tables 3 and 2 chairs is 8745.

Let
The cost of 1 chair be x.

The cost of 1 table will be x+40.

To find cost of each is needed:-

Equation will be 2x+3(x+40)

A/q

2x+3x+120=8745

5x+120 = 8745

5x=8745-120

x=8625/5=1725

Hence

Cost of 1 chair = x = Rs 1725 .

Cost of 1 table=x+40=1725+40=1765

Hope it helps you

Solutions :-

Given :

3 tables and 2 chairs cost = Rs 8745

Let the cost of 1 chair be x
Cost of 1 table = x + 40

A/q

=> 2x + 3(x + 40) = 8745
=> 2x + 3x + 120 = 8745
=> 5x = 8745 - 120
=> 5x = 8625
=> x = 8625/5 = 1725

Hence,
Cost of 1 chair = x = Rs 1725
Cost of 1 table = x + 40 = Rs (1725 + 40) = Rs 1765
