Given : Mass=m=2kg

            Energy=E=40J

The speed of the body while crossing the centre of path is Vmax and the total energy is entirely the kinetic energy.

                             Therefore, 1/2 m.Vmax^2 = E

                 Therefore, Vmax = Root ( 2E/m )

                                               = Root { (2).(40) } / 2

                                               = 2 Root (10)

                                               = 6.324 m/s..
