The total number of π e-s which are present in the shown Organic Structure are (A) - 8 electrons.

We can count them easily as the π - bonds are depicted as Double bonds, which means two bond lines. Since this structure has 4 such double bonds, and each double bond is made up of 2 π electrons.

The sites where the double bonds are present are -

Starting from the left side,

1- in between C2 and C3

2- between the methyl group on C4.

3- between C5 and C6

and last 4 - between C7 and C8.

Now 4 double bonds × number of electrons in each bond = total π - electrons.

Therefore, 4 × 2 = 8 electrons.

Thank you
