EXPLANATION.

The total surface area of a cylinder = 924 cm².

Its radius of the base = 7 cm.

As we know that,

Formula of :

Total surface area of a cylinder = 2πr(h + r).

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h.

Using this formula in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2πr(h + r) = 924.

⇒ 2 x 22/7 x 7 (h + 7) = 924.

⇒ 2 x 22 x (h + 7) = 924.

⇒ 44 x (h + 7) = 924.

⇒ 44h + 308 = 924.

⇒ 44h = 924 - 308.

⇒ 44h = 616.

⇒ h = 14 cm.

Volume of cylinder = πr²h.

⇒ 22/7 x 7 x 7 x 14.

⇒ 22 x 7 x 14 = 2156 cm³.

Height of cylinder = 14 cm.

Volume of cylinder = 2156 cm³.
