The total surface area of cylinder is 440 m2. Find the height of cylinder of its radius is 7m.​

TSA of the cylinder = 440m²

given its radius = 7cm

2πr(h + r) = TSA of the cylinder

=> 2 × 22/7 × 7 (h + 7) = 440m²

=> 44 ( h + 7 ) = 440m²

=> h + 7 = 440/44

=> h + 7 = 10

=> h = 10 - 7

=> h = 3m

hence, the height of the cylinder is 3m.

radius = 7m

Height = h

TSA of cylinder= 2πrh+2πr^2

*Putting the values*

440 = 44h+ 44*7

440=  44(h+ 7)

440/ 44 = h+7

10 - 7 = h

3=h
