The total volume of flour in a recipe is 1501 mL. If the volume of the whole wheat flour used is 200 mL less than twice the volume of white flour, how much of each kind of flour is used?

so x+ y = 1501 or x = 1501-y

and x = 2y -200

1501-y = 2y -200 ( put x value)

or, 3y = 1701

or x = 567 li

then y = 1501-567 = 934li

so wheat flour 567 li and white flour 934li
