The total weight of a bag containing three packets of rice, sugar and tea was 17 kg. If
the weight of the rice was 9 kg 650 g and the weight of sugar was 6 kg 475 g, find the
weight of the packet containing tea.

Answer:

The weight of tea in the bag =

{the total weight - the sum of weights of sugar and rice}

Given total weight of the bag = 17kg

sum of weights of rice and sugar = 16 kg 125gm

the weight of tea = 17kg - 16kg 125 gm

= 875 gm.
