The total weight of a gas mixture which contains 11.2 lit of co2,5.6lit of o2

volume of CO2 gas = 11.2 litre

so, no of moles of CO2 gas = given volume/22.4 litres

= 11.2litres/22.4 litres = 0.5

so, weight of CO2 gas in the mixture = mole of CO2 × molecular weight of CO2

= 0.5 × 44 = 22g

similarly, volume of O2 gas = 5.6 litres

no of moles of O2 gas = 5.6litres/22.4 litres = 0.25 mol

so, weight of O2 gas = 0.25 × 32 = 8g

so, total weight of gas mixture = weight of CO2 gas + weight of O2 gas

= 22g + 8g

= 30g

hence, weight of mixture of the gases are 30g
