Answer:

6⁵

Step-by-step explanation:

the transportation industry transported 69 tonnes of coal. each ship used for transportation could carry 6^2 tonnes of coal. if 6^2 number of ships were used for transportation, how many trips were made by these ships for transporting such huge amount of coal?

Each ship could carry  6²  tonnes of coal

Number of ship used = 6²

Coal transported in 1 trip = 6² * 6²

xᵃ * xᵇ = xᵃ⁺ᵇ

Coal transported in 1 trip = 6⁴ tonnes

Coal to be transported = 6⁹ tonnes

Number of trips required =  Total coal to be transported / Coal transported in 1 trip

= 6⁹ / 6⁴

xᵃ / xᵇ = xᵃ⁻ᵇ

= 6⁵

=7776
