Hi.

Here is your answer---

______________________

Let the Height (or Perpendicular) of the Triangles be P and Base is B.

According to the Question,

         P = 2 × B
         P = 2B

Using the Formula,
  Area of the Triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height
                    400 = 1/2 × B × P
                    400 × 2 = B × 2B
                      B² = 400
                      B = 20 cm.

Thus, Base = 20 cm.
Height(P) = 2 x  B
                = 2 × 20
                = 40 cm.

Extra Calculations----

For Hypotenuse(H) of the Triangles,

Using the Pythagoras Theorem,

                                  H² = P² + B²
                                  H² = 40² + 20²
                                  H² = 160000 + 400
                                  H² = 160400
                                  H² = 400.49 cm.

ANSWER :

─━━━━━━⊱✿⊰━━━━━━─

The Base of the Triangle = b

The Height of the triangle, h = 2b

The Area of the triangle, A = 400 cm^2

We know that ,

area \: of \: triangle \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h

From this ,,,

Area , A = 1/2 × b × 2b

400 = b^2

b = ( 400)^1/2

b = 20cm

The height of the triangle, h = 2b

h = 2 × 20

h = 40 cm
