Given :- The two adjacent sides of a rectangle at 2x² - 5xy + 3z² and 4xy - x² - z² . find its perimeter ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 * sum of adjacent sides .

so,

→ Perimeter = 2(2x² - 5xy + 3z² + 4xy - x² - z²)

→ Perimeter = 2(2x² - x² + 3z² - z² - 5xy + 4xy)

→ Perimeter = 2(x² + 2z² - xy)

→ Perimeter = (2x² + 4z² - 2xy) (Ans.)

Hence, Perimeter of the given rectangle is (2x² + 4z² - 2xy).
