We know, area of a rectangle = product of sides.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 times the sum of both the sides.

Area

(5x²-3y²)(x²+y²)

= 5x⁴ -3x²y² + 5x²y² - 3y⁴

= 5x⁴ - 3y⁴ + 2x²y²

Perimeter

2(5x²-3y²+x²+y²)

= 2(6x²-2y²)

= 12x² - 4y²

This is the same as 4(3x²-y²).
