Hey

First altitude = 5 cm .

The base to first altitude is = 12 cm .

We know that ,

area of parallelogram

= base * height .

So , area

= ( 5 * 12 ) cm²

= 60 cm² .

Now ,

Second altitude = 6 cm

Let the base to second altitude be x .

So area of parallelogram

= 6 * x ( base * height )

Now ,

we have also calculated area of parallelogram = 60 cm² .

So ,

A/q ,

6 * x = 60

=> x = 60 / 6

=> x = 10 .

So ,

required base of second altitude = 10 cm

thanks :)
