Given.
(hypotenuse)²=50units.
And
altitude = base (. two legs of Right angled Triangle)
On squaring,
(altitude)²=(base)² let it be x²→(1)
By Pythagoras theorem,
(hypotenuse)²=(base)²+(altitude)²
→50=2(x)² [from (1)]
→25=x²
→x=√25=5units.
So Length of each Leg of the given Triangle is 5units...
Hope it Helps...

2 legs are equal, square of hypotenuse is 50
Define x:
Let each of the legs be x units
Solve x:
x² + x² = 50
2x² = 50
x² = 25
x = √25
x = 5 units
Answer: Each of the leg is 5 units long.
