Due to Pythagoras’ theorem, the third side must be c^^2.

c^^2 = 3^^2 + 4^^2

c^^2 = 9 + 16

c = square root of 25 = 5

Therefore, the ratios of the 3 sides are 3:4:5

The total of the ratios are 3+4+5 = 12

As the 12 parts make up 96, each one part would be 96/12 = 8

Therefore, the sides are 3*8,4*8 and 5*8 = 24, 32 and 40

Answer: Perpendicular sides are 24cm and 32cm, and the hypotenuse would be 40cm
