The two sides of a parallelogram ABCD are 6 cm and 4cm. The height corresponding to base CD is 3cm . Find:
1) Area of Parallelogram ABCD
2) Height corresponding to base AD

Answer:

area of a parallelogram ABCD=b×h
6×3=18
let x be the height of corresponding cd
but, 4x =18
so,x= 18/4= 4.5
