SOLUTION:-

Let α and β be the two roots of quadratic polynomial.

•°• α = -4 and β = -6

α + β = -4 - 6 = -10

αβ = -4(-6) = 24

Quadratic equation = x² - (α + β)x + αβ

=> x² + 6x + 24 = 0

comparing this equation with general form of quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0

•°• we get:- a = 1, b = 6 and c = 24

•°• b = 6

Sum and product of quadratic polynomial is -6 and 24.

coefficients of b is 6.
