Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

zeroes of the polynomial are -4 & -6

let them be α=-4 & β=-6

the general form of a quadratic polynomial is ax²+bx+c

we know that,

sum of the zeroes of a quadratic polynomial is α+β=-b/a

⇒(-4)+(-6)=-b/a

⇒-4-6=-10=-b/a

⇒-10/1=-b/a↔(1)

product of the zeroes is α.β=c/a

⇒(-4)(-6)=24=c/a

⇒24/1=c/a↔(2)

from eq.(1) & (2) we get,

a=1, b=10, c=24

∴coefficient of x² is 1.

 coefficient of x is 10.

 constant is 24.

  The quadratic polynomial p(x) is x²+10x+24.
