The type and thickness of vegetation changes from place to place because of the following reasons:

(1) Climate (temperature and moisture)

(2) Height from mean sea level – Slope

(3) The thickness of the soil.

(4) As these conditions vary from place to place, natural vegetation (types and thickness) also varies from place to place
