answer : option (b) sp , sp² and sp³

let's find number of bond pairs and lone pairs of each compound by which we can easily find out hybridisation of them.

for NO₂⁺

number of bond pairs = 2

number of lone pairs = (5 + 2 × 6 - 1 - 2 × 8)/2 = 0

total = 2 + 0 so hybridisation = sp

for NO₃⁻

number of bond pairs = 3

number of lone pairs = (5 + 6 × 3 + 1 - 3 × 8)/2 = 0

total = 3 + 0 so hybridisation = sp²

for NH₄⁺

number of bond pairs = 4

number of lone pairs = (5 + 4 - 1 - 4 × 2)/2 = 0

total = 4 + 0 so hybridisation = sp³
