Tall grasses are also known as savannas they are natural grasslands filled with a great diversity of grasses, and animal life.

These grasslands were once found in abundance in Central America.  

But they are disappearing from the past 200 years due to human abuse and only 3 per cent of grasslands are left in Ontario.
