➡️the statement is ✔️false as UV rays are absorbed by Ozone layer (O3) present in stratosphere not oxygen in atmosphere.

No ,Mainly Ozone which is present in aatmosphere absorbs the UV rays and that Ozone spilts into Oxyden MoleculeBecause Ozone is made of up Oxygen,
Whereas Ozone has Tetra Atomic molecule and
hence this statement is false!
