Let a is the equal sides of isosceles triangle and b is the unequal side thenarea of triangle = (1/4)*b*√(4a2 - b2) = 60b*√(4a2 - b2) = 240 24*√(4a2 - 242) = 240 √(4a2 - 242) = 10 squaring both side (4a2 - 242) = 100 4a2 = 100 + 576 a2 = 676/4 = 169 a = 13 perimeter of triangle = 13 + 13 + 24 = 50 cm
