The use of fertilizers should be less because if the amount of fertilizers is more :-

1) it it cannot improve the texture of the soil

2) when was into water bodies harmful to the environment

3)the effect of the fertilizers last only for a short time.they can easily leach out of the soil as water drains away.

4)since fertilizers are available in concentrated form they need to be measured and applied to the soil carefully to avoid damaging or killing crops .if not properly selected fertilizers can harm soil by changing soil chemistry

for eg,the use of sodium nitrate increases the alkalinity of soil while the addition of ammonium sulphate raises the acidity of soil

5)fertilizers can also damage soil by suppressing the activities of bacteria that fix nitrogen

Hi Here is your answer:

Yes , the use of fertilisers should be limited as fertilisers are made up of chemicals and excess of it cause damage to soil and plants.

Though we can use them in limited amount as they contain many useful components like nitrogen, phosphorus, etc. and help plant in providing nutrients.

Hope u like it.
