x =  \frac{23}{99} .....(1)

y =  \frac{22}{99} .......(2)

Therefore,

x+y

 =  \frac{(23 + 22)}{99}

 =  \frac{45}{99}

 =  \frac{5}{11} </em><em>answer:</em><em>-</em><em>

The value of  0.\overline{272} + 0.13\overline{63} = 0.41

Given:

0.\overline{272} + 0.13\overline{63}

To find:

The value of  0.\overline{272} + 0.13\overline{63}

Solution:

Given numbers are  0.\overline{272}  and  0.13\overline{63}

To add given numbers convert them into fractions as given below

Let x = 0.\overline{272}

=> 1000x = 272.272272.....

=> 1000x - x = 272.272272..... - 0.272272...

999x = 272

x = 272/999

=>  0.\overline{272}  = 272/999

Let x =  0.13\overline{63}

0.13\overline{63}  = (1363 - 13)/9900

0.13\overline{63}  = 1360/9900

=>  0.\overline{272} + 0.13\overline{63} = 272/999 + 1360/9900

=>   450160/ 1098900 = 0.41

Therefore,

The value of  0.\overline{272} + 0.13\overline{63} = 0.41
