Given :  √5 + 2√6

To find : The value of √5 + 2√6

We have , √(5 + 2√6)

= √(3 + 2 + 2√6)

= √(√3)² + √2² + 2 × √3 × √2)

= √(√3 + √2)²

[By using an identity, a² + b² + 2ab = (a + b)² ]

= √(√3 + √2)²

 = √3 + √2

√(5 + 2√6) = √3 + √2
