when a car covers the distance of 3 m and comes back to its position covering the distance of 3m again then the car doesn't displaced from its actual position [3m - 3m ( coming back to is actual position) = 0 ] So the displacement of the car will be zero.

Hey.. here's your answer..

Answer:

If the final and initial point is same or if the object is moving in a straight line, then the displacement can be zero.

for example: an object starts moving from point A and stops at point A ,so the displacement will be zero as the shortest distance covered between final and initial point is displacement, here final and initial point is same.

Hope this will help you..

Thank you.
