given equation :- 4x² + 4√3x + k

here, a = 4, b = 4√3 and c = k

nature of quadratic equation is determined by D

if D is 0, then the equation have two equal roots.

D = (b)² - 4ac

since it has equal zeroes

➡ b² - 4ac = 0

➡ (4√3)² - 4(4)(k) = 0

➡ 48 - 16k = 0

➡ -16k = -48

➡ k = -48/-16

➡ k = 3

hence, the value of k is 3.

According to the given question:-

4x² + 4√3x + k

 • Let Q= 4
 • A = 4√3
 • M = k

b² - 4ac = 0

(4√3)² - 4(4)(k) = 0

(48 - 16k = 0)

-16k = -48 \\

k = -48/-16 \\

k = 3

Therefore ,3 is the value of k
