We already have the values for x and y so all we have to do is to put them in the equation...

2(-2) + 3(1) = k

-4 + 3 = k

k = -1

===============================

Given : x = (-2) , y = 1

==> 2x + 3y - k = 0

==> 2 (-2) + 3(1) - k = 0

==> -4 + 3 - k = 0

=> -1 - k = 0

\therefore{k = 0}
