GIVEN :-

  • x = 3.
  • y = -2.
  • Equation :- 2x - 13y = k

TO FIND :-

  • K = ?

SOLUTION :-

x = 3.

y = -2.

ACCORDING TO QUESTION

→ 2x - 13y = k

→ k = 2x - 13y

Substitute all the values,

k = 2 × 3 - 13 × (-2)

→ k = 6 - (-26)

→ k = 6 + 26

k = 32

The Value of k is 32.

VERIFICATION

→ 2x - 13y = k

→ k = 2x - 13y

Substitute all the values,

→ 32 = 2 × 3 - 13 × (-2)

→ 32 = 6 - (-26)

→ 32 = 32

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

HENCE VERIFIED.
