Answer :

Magnitude of magnetic field = 2T

Area of surface = 0.5m²

We have to find magnitude of magnetic flux passing through it.

_________________________________

Magnitude of magnetic flux passing through a surface of area A is given by

  • Φ = BA cosβ

Φ denotes magnetic flux

B denotes magnetic field

A denotes area

β denotes angle b/w B and A

ATQ,

Angle b/w B and A = 90°

➝ Φ = BA cosβ

➝ Φ = 2×0.5 cos90°

Φ = 0
