Answer:

the answer is as follows

 \sin30 = 1by2

 \cos(30 )  =  \sqrt{3 \: }  by \: 2

 \tan(45)  = 1

  1. sin^2 30=(1/2)^2=1/4
  2. cos^2 30=(root3/2)^2=3/4
  3. tan 45=1
  • so,sin^2 30-cos^ 30+tan 45=
  • 1/4-3/4+1
  • -2/4+1
  • 1/2

The answer is ,1/2

The value of sin²30° - cos²30° + tan 45° is 1/2

Given:

sin square 30 degree - cos square 30 +tan 45

To find:

sin²30° - cos²30° + tan 45°

Solution:

Trigonometric Ratios:

Trigonometric ratios are defined as the values of all trigonometric functions depending on the ratio of sides of a right-angled triangle. The trigonometric ratios of a given acute angle are the ratios of a right-angled triangle's sides to that angle.

Here we have,

sin²30° - cos²30° + tan 45°

From trigonometric table,

sin 30° =  1/2

cos 30° = √3/2

tan 45° = 1

sin²30° - cos²30° + tan 45°  can be calculated as given below

Substitute above value in given expression

=> (1/2)² - (√3/2) + 1

=>  1/4 - 3/4 + 1

=>  -2/4 + 1

=> -1/2 + 1

=> 1/2

Therefore,

The value of sin²30° - cos²30° + tan 45° is 1/2
