The value of the g on earth is 9.81 . suppose the earth suddenly shrinks to half of its present size without lossing any mass what is the value of g on the surface of shrinked earth

ANSWER

  • If the earth losses half of it's volume by losing its surface area then the g will be constant
  • If the earth shrinks to half from latitude which joines North Pole and South Pole or longitude at 0 degree that is Equator may be g will change

Explanation

If earth losses it's surface area the nature of earth doesn't change but In second point nature of earth may change because It's cutting into half by diameterly so the source of gravity becomes into half
