Answer ⇒ Option (d). Order of the Magnitude.

Explanation ⇒ Order of magnitude means the relative power of the quantity in terms of 10 and no other number. If the Physical quantity is very much big which is causing the inconvenience to speak we uses the Principle of the Order of the Magnitude to speak such values.

If the Number if greater than the 5 then the Power of 10 will be increased by 1. If It will be less than 1 then the Powers will remains unchanged.

For example,

The vibrations produced in the cesium atoms are 9192631770 or (9.192631770 × 10⁹). Although correct measurement is very necessary, but sometimes in order to avoid inconvenience we speaks it as 10¹⁰. Since, the number is greater than 5 thus power is increased by 1.

Hence, Option (d). is correct.

Hope it helps.
