The value of two resistors are R1=6+-0.3 k Ω and R2=12+-0.3kΩ . If they are connected in parallel then the equivalent resistance Req of the combination will be (1/Req=1/R1+1/R2)

A.4+-0.1
B. 4+-0.6
C. 4+-0.2

Answer:

given = R1 = 6+- 0.3 KΩ

            R2 = 12 +-0.3KΩ

to find = equivalent resistance

solution ,

Req /16 = 0.3/36 + 0.3 / 144

             = 16 (0.3/36 + 0.3/144)

             =  0.133 + 0.0033

             =   0.1663

          R = 4 +- 0.1663

the option A is  the correct answer.
