When solving such prepare a table consisting of rows and columns as follows:
Number - Frequency
1 - 6
2 - 5
3 - 8
4 - 4
5 - 5
6 - 4
7 - 4
8 - 5
9 - 8

Hence,
The least frequently occurring digit is 4, 6 and 7 as all of them repeat only 4 times.

The most frequently occurring digit is 9 as it repeats 8 times which highest frequency among all other digits.
