Step-by-step explanation:

Given The value of x for which 2x.(x +10) and (3x + 2) are the three consecutive terms  of an AP.is

  • If 2x, x + 10, 3x + 2 are in A.P
  • Then x + 10 – 2x = 3x + 2 – x – 10
  • So we get – x + 10 = 2x – 8
  • Or – 3x = - 18
  • Or x = 18 / 3
  • Or x = 6

Solution:

Since, 2x, x + 10 , 3x + 2 are in AP.

2x + 20 = 5x + 2

2(x + 10) = 2x + (3x + 2) x = 6

3x = 18
