x is proportional to y
Therefore, X 1/y
i.e. X =k 1/Y
Now , X + p% =1/Y +p%
therefore, X+ p% = 1+ Yp%/Y
Now, p% = 1 + yp%/y - x
Adding by y on both sides of equation,
y+p% = 1+ yp%/y -x + y
Considering RHS,
= 1/Y + Yp%/Y -X/Y .....[ Divinding By Y Throughout equation]
= 1/X+Xp% .....[By componendo and dividendo]
Therefore, X 1/y
i.e. X =k 1/Y
Now , X + p% =1/Y +p%
therefore, X+ p% = 1+ Yp%/Y
Now, p% = 1 + yp%/y - x
Adding by y on both sides of equation,
y+p% = 1+ yp%/y -x + y
Considering RHS,
= 1/Y + Yp%/Y -X/Y .....[ Divinding By Y Throughout equation]
= 1/X+Xp% .....[By componendo and dividendo]
