Velocity keeps changing from t = 0 to t = 1
After t = 1 Velocity is constant and hence acceleration after 1 s is 0
Displacement during t = 0 to t = 1 s
Displacement = Velocity × Time
= Area under line formed in velocity time graph
= 0.5 × 1 × 10
= 5 m
∴ Distance covered during acceleration is 5 m
