the velocity of a car increased from the 54 km per second to 72 km per second how much is the work done if the mass of the car is 1500 kg

we know that
work done is equal to change in kinetic energy
so
W = Final K.E - initial K.E

final KE = (1/2)m v^2 = 0.5 * 1500* (72*1000)^2 = 3.888*10^12J
initial KE = 0.5*1500*(54*1000)^2 = 2.187*10^12 J

work done = 1.701 * 10^12 J
