we know that
work done is equal to change in kinetic energy
so
W = Final K.E - initial K.E
final KE = (1/2)m v^2 = 0.5 * 1500* (72*1000)^2 = 3.888*10^12J
initial KE = 0.5*1500*(54*1000)^2 = 2.187*10^12 J
work done = 1.701 * 10^12 J
