the Vertical angle of an isosceles triangle is 100 find its base angles

As in a isosceles triangle two of the angle formed by equal sides are equal then
let the other two be x & x
then
100° +x + x = 180
or 2x = 180-100
or x = 80/2
or x = 40 °
as both Angles are equal then
base angles = 40°,40°
