Since it is an isosceles triangle.....

So its Base angles are equal.

Let the each Base angle be a°

By angle sum property of triangle

=> a + a + 100 = 180

=> 2a = 80

=> a = 40

Each Base angle = 40°

Hey friend,
Here is your answer:

An isosceles triangle has two adjacent angles equal and one angle is unequal. Here, the vertical angle is 100°, so the base angles will be equal as they are adjacent to each other.
The sum of all angles in a triangles is 180° according to its properties. So,
Let the base angles be taken as x.
x + x + 100°= 180°
2x = 180° - 100°
2x = 80°
x = 80°/2
x = 40°
So, the base angles are 40° each.

Hope it helps u.
