GiveN :-

  • The virtual image formed a concave mirror is of size 2 times the size of an object.

To FinD :-

  • The relationship between the image distance and the object distance.

AnsweR :-

Here we need to find the relationship between the image distance and the object distance. Here since the image formed is virtual hence it will be erect . So in this case the magnification will be positive . So , let the height of the object be x ,then the height of the image will be 2x. Now here we will use the formula of Magnification.

\orange{\bigstar}\underline{\color{purple}{\boldsymbol{ According \ to \ formula \ of \ Magnification :-}}}

\sf:\implies\pink{ Magnification (m)=\dfrac{Height_{( image)} }{Height_{(object)} }=\dfrac{Distance_{(image)}}{Distance_{(object)}}}\\\\\sf:\implies \dfrac{2x}{x}=\dfrac{v}{u}\\\\\sf:\implies 2 = \dfrac{v}{u}\\\\\sf:\implies \underset{\green{\sf Required\: Realation }}{\underbrace{\boxed{\pink{\frak{ Image\ Distance = 2( Object\ Distance )}}}}}
