GIVEN THAT:-

volume = 2197 m^3

let the side of the cube = a

therefore,

volume of the cube = a³

so,

2197 = a³

(13 * 13 * 13) = a³

taking cube root both side,

13 = a

therefore,

length of each side of the cube = 13 m

now, the area of cube is 6a²

= 6 * (13)²

= 6 * 169

= 1014m²

hence, the area of cube is 1014m².

Volume = Length × Width × Height

A cube has equal sides.

Therefore :

Height = Length =  width

let the length be l.

volume will be :

V = l³

now V = 2197

hence :

2197 = l³

l = ∛2197 = 13

the cube is of side : 13 cm

Area of one side = length × width

Length = Width = 13 cm

Area = 13 × 13 = 169 cm²
