Step-by-step explanation:

Let the volume of Aluminium piece = x cu.cm

then, volume of brass piece = 2x cu. cm

wt of 1cu.cm of Aluminium is = 7.8g

=> wt of x cu.cm of Aluminium is = 7.8×x  g

wt of 1cu.cm of brass is = 8.9g

wt of 2x cu.cm of brass is = 8.9×2x g

therefore,

7.8×x + 8.9×2x  = 1280

(7.8+17.8)×x = 1280

x = 1280/25.6

  = 50

hence volume of Aluminium is 50cc and volume of BRASS is 2×50 = 100cc

hyy mate ✌️

let the volume of Aluminium piece = x cu.cm

then, volume of brass piece = 2x cu. cm

wt of 1cu.cm of Aluminium is = 7.8g

=> wt of x cu.cm of Aluminium is = 7.8*x  g

wt of 1cu.cm of brass is = 8.9g

wt of 2x cu.cm of brass is = 8.9*2x g

therefore,

7.8*x + 8.9*2x  = 1280

(7.8+17.8)*x = 1280

x = 1280/25.6

  = 50

hence volume of Aluminium is 50cc and volume of BRASS is 2*50 = 100cc

hope it will help you ❣️
